The PHP Hydraulic packer is a hydraulically set and accessible packer that can be run in one or more Wells together. Packers that are particularly suitable for mechanical and wireline setting are not suitable for running in highly angled or horizontal Wells. Two or more packers may be set at once or in sequence in order of design. The packer is widely used in various production and stimulation operations such as stratified oil recovery, stratified water injection, acidification and fracturing.

Work Principle

Setting: After the packer is lowered to the design position, the hydraulic pressure is added from the tubing, the upper piston is pushed up, and the lower piston is pushed down, and the upper cone is pushed to make the bidirectional slip anchor the casing.
Release: Lift the string up, the center pipe goes up with the string, cut the release shear nail, the packer is released, and then go up, the slip is released from the casing, and the packer is completely unsealed.
